An Air-Conditioning Industry client contracted Paragon Plastics to fabricate a series of portable air-conditioning covers using our forming and CNC machining capabilities. Based on the customer-supplied design, we formed each cover by heating and then cooling each unit for four minutes to properly cure the ABS plastic material.

After forming each cover, we then employed our CNC machining equipment to trim the covers' perimeter to meet precise height measurements and produce front-end cut outs. Constructed from 39" x 39" x 0.250" white DR/ABS plastic material, each cover was manufactured to measure precisely 29.623" in length and 16.125" in height. We also fashioned a small cut out in the back of each unit, forming six, additional 0.125" holes which were spaced evenly around this cut out. After the covers were manufactured, we cleaned and deburred each unit, providing the covers with a smooth finish. Then we labeled and packed for delivery.
