When an air conditioning industry client contracted Paragon Plastics to fabricate a series of plastic portable air conditioning covers, we used a combination of our superior forming and CNC machining capabilities to construct each unit. Based on a customer supplied design, we formed each cover to the full detail of the mold. During this process, we heated and then cooled each unit for four minutes, curing the ABS plastic material.

After forming each cover, we then employed our CNC machining equipment to trim the covers' perimeter to meet precise height measurements and produce front end cut outs. We also fashioned a small cut out in the back of each unit, forming six, additional .125" holes which were spaced evenly around this cut out. After the covers were manufactured, we cleaned and deburred each unit, providing the air conditioning covers with a smooth finish. Then we labeled and stacked each part, readying it for delivery.

Constructed from 39" by 39" by .250" white DR/ABS plastic material, each air conditioning cover was manufactured to measure precisely 29.623" in length and 16.125" in height. Meeting exact customer specifications, we were able to employ our advanced forming and CNC machining processes to produce a series of plastic, portable air conditioning covers that exceeded client expectations.
