Our thermoform tooling ranges from composite molds for low-volume parts to temperature-controlled aluminum cast tooling for high-volume production runs. Cast aluminum molds are generally the most efficient for thermoforming because they offer the best heat transfer, which allows the operators to more precisely control the cycle times, part shrinkage, and warpage. Consistency in the forming process is essential in reducing waste and improving quality.
